Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 4, 2026
App: Square 'em All — iOS (com.nt.squareemall) and Android (com.techartvn.squareemall)

Square 'em All is free, shows ads, and uses analytics. This page says exactly what that means.

Square 'em All is on iPhone and iPad (App Store) and on Android (Google Play). Where the two versions differ, this page says so.

There is no account and no sign-up. I run no server of my own for this game and hold no copy of your saves. What data the game does produce goes to the third parties named below — Google, Meta (iOS only), RevenueCat and Apple — and each is listed with what it gets and why.

What is stored on your device

Game progress, your best score, your level, your settings and a flag recording that you have seen the tutorial are kept in local storage on the device. They stay there. They are not uploaded, and there is no cloud save.

Deleting the app deletes all of it. There is no way for me to restore it, because I never had a copy.

Analytics

The game uses Firebase Analytics (Google). It records gameplay events — a game started, a level reached, a spell cast, a game over, and similar — along with the standard device and app information the Firebase SDK collects, such as device model, operating system version, app version, rough region and an app-instance identifier.

It is there to show which parts of the game get played and where people stop. It is not used to identify you. See Firebase's privacy and security information and Google's privacy policy.

Advertising

Ads are served by Google AdMob. The game shows three kinds: a banner, an interstitial between games, and rewarded videos you choose to watch to unlock an assist.

To serve and measure those ads, AdMob collects device information and advertising identifiers, under Google's policy on how it uses data from apps that use its services. I do not receive that data; it goes to Google.

On Android, AdMob uses the device’s advertising ID. You can reset it, or opt out of personalised ads, in Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on the device).

If you have ad-free play, no ads are requested or shown at all.

Meta SDK

The iOS app includes the Facebook (Meta) SDK. The Android app does not include it. No part of the game uses Facebook login, and you are never asked to connect an account. The SDK is nevertheless initialised when the app launches, and on launch it can collect device and app-usage information and send it to Meta, in line with Meta's privacy policy. It is listed here because it ships in the build, not because the game asks anything of it.

App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS the game asks for permission to track. The choice is yours and it changes only the ads:

  • Allow — a personalised advertising identifier can be used, and the ads you see are personalised.
  • Ask App Not to Track — the identifier is not available, and the ads are non-personalised. Everything else in the game works exactly the same.

Declining costs you nothing in the game. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your device.

The App Tracking Transparency prompt is iOS only. On Android there is no prompt; the advertising ID controls are described under Advertising above.

Purchases

Ad-free play is a one-time purchase, Remove Ads. On iOS it is processed by Apple, and on Android by Google Play. Payment details go to Apple or Google and never pass through the game. I never see your card details.

The 3-month ad-free subscription is no longer sold. If you already have one, you keep ad-free play until it lapses.

RevenueCat manages entitlements on both platforms, meaning it records whether this install is entitled to ad-free play, and receives the purchase and subscription information needed to do that. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Leaderboards and achievements

On iOS, leaderboards and achievements run through Apple's Game Center, under your own Apple account. Scores and achievements you submit go to Apple, and what is shared and shown is governed by Apple, not by me. If you are not signed in to Game Center, nothing is submitted.

On Android, they run through Google Play Games, under your own Google account. Scores and achievements you submit go to Google, under Google's privacy policy. If you are not signed in to Google Play Games, nothing is submitted.

Notifications

The game schedules local reminders on the device, a few days after you last played. They are scheduled and delivered by the operating system on the device itself — nothing is pushed from a server, and no notification token is collected.

On iOS, turn them off in Settings → Notifications → Square 'em All. On Android 13 and later, the game needs the notification permission to show them; turn them off in Settings → Apps → Square 'em All → Notifications.

Sharing a score

Sharing uses the system share sheet on both iOS and Android. What happens to what you share is then up to whichever app you send it to, and governed by that app's privacy policy.

Children

Square 'em All is rated 4+ on the App Store and PEGI 3 / Everyone on Google Play, but it is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from them. The game shows advertising and uses analytics, as described above.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided information through this app, email me at nguyen.nguyen@techartvn.com and I will look into it and delete what I can.
